The Italian Serie A is considered the best volleyball league in the world. Fourteen teams with the world’s best players are taking part in the Serie A1 championship: at the end of the Regular Season, the best eight among them are admitted to the Play Off Scudetto, the thirteenth and fourteenth are relegated to the Serie A2 TIM. The regular season comprises 26 days (13 first half, 13 second half).

The sportsman has acquired the exclusive internet rights worldwide (outside Italy) for the Italian Serie A for the seasons 2006-2007 through 2007-2008.
