Former TSV 1860 München Team Manager Rainer Barth has joined the sportsman medie group to head the newest project of the German Football League (DFL) and the sportsman. The 40 year old is responsible for the organization and implementation of DFL's international friendly matches.

The Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund and Energie Cottbus currently play friendly matches in China and Indonesia.
