The VELUX EHF Champions League, Europe's premier men's club handball competition, is to be shown across Sub-Saharan Africa mediated in a new television deal brokered by the sportsman media group, the international sports media rights agency on behalf of EHF Marketing GmbH, the marketing arm of the European Handball Federation.

Setanta Africa will broadcast all the matches from the final weekend event, the VELUX EHF FINAL 4, which will take place on 28 and 29 May 2011 in Cologne, Germany and will feature teams from Spain and Germany in the form of FC Barcelona-Borges, Renovalia Ciudad Real, Rhein Neckar Löwen and HSV Hamburg.

Commenting on the addition of Setanta Africa to its list of international broadcasters, Head of Media of EHF Marketing GmbH, Ulrich Gutweniger, said: "This new deal will deliver fantastic coverage of our showpiece event across Sub Saharan Africa.
