Alemannia Aachen is a top-ranked soccer club from the 2. Bundesliga in Germany and was successfully qualified for the current UEFA-Cup season 2004/05 via the German Cup final.

the sportsman media group succeeded in acquiring the worldwide (national and international) tv-rights from Alemannia for all UEFA-Cup home games.

Alemannia Aachen, as a club from the 2.Bundesliga, by many surprises, finally qualified for the third round (last 32 teams), where they lost in a dramatic return match in Holland against AZ Alkmaar by 1 : 2.

Through a new partnership between TWI and the sportsman media group it was made possible that all 4 home games where televised either live or delayed or in parts in German free-tv, even though 3 more Germanclubs from the 1.Bundesliga where also qualified.

During its close collaboration with Alemannia, the sportsman media group also acquired banner rights to some matches and sold these rights with great success in the German market.
