On the 21st of December 2005 arena was granted the German TV rights of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga for the seasons 2006/2007 through 2008/2009.
In 07/2006 the Munich based Pay-TV channel arena has appointed the sportsman media group GmbH as its exclusive acquisition agency for global sports media rights.
